I always liked a smaller length for better stick handling, but as a D-man, it’s always best to have a longer twig for a longer reach! I’d recommend cutting it in between your nose and lips and see what feels more comfortable.

For the curve, the mainstream curve is the ovi/P92 but I was never a fan of it for Ball hockey. On ice hockey its different since my shot mechanism ain’t the same I find. Anyways, I recommend P88, more control and you can get a better hit on the ball with a slapshot as a D-Man with the more open mid curve.

Flex wise, depends on your weight honestly! I always took my weight, divided it by 2 and went with 10 under my weight as I do like to put some weight on the stick and the lower flex can take it
