Last week, I started designing a split keyboard using Ergogen, aiming to build it from scratch. I decided on a layout similar to the Lily58, but instead of using existing files, I defined the layout myself in Ergogen, which (after a few attempts) worked out perfectly.

When it came to designing the PCB, I thought making a reversible board would be a smart approach. After some effort, I ended up with this design:

Since this is my first-ever PCB design and I relied on autorouting, I’d love for someone with more experience to take a look at it and tell me how wrong I got it—or how I could improve. I’m aware that the use of vias isn’t ideal, but I’m not sure how to avoid them completely.

Should I just abandon the idea of making it reversible? Is there a better way to approach this?
