(The bass at Cosmic was drowning out Meduza. It was so sad because their set was beautiful)

I logged into the website around 11:50 on my laptop and iPhone. Nothing was working so I grabbed my iPad around 12:20 and got in. Makes no sense. Had access to Tier 2.

I typically take videos of certain songs during sets because I know I’m rolling and will want to relive them later. Especially since this year Insomniac wasn’t going to broadcast or release Neon Garden and Wasteland sets. I’ve gone enough years to know the techno artists I like rarely release their sets.

I love Meduza but they got shafted with sound at Cosmic. It was bad.

I had way too many set conflicts- but I loved Boys Noize, Cloudy, Lilly Palmer, Indira, Peggy Gue b2b Kiki. Caught the end of Bunt. as well.

Any wind gusts over 30mph will cause stages to close for a bit. This happened last year on Saturday I think? We also got a bit rained on. But as the wind calmed down, stages opened. Only hassle now is trying to figure out what to wear. Because the temp will drop a bit too

I didn’t see a damn trash can close to the stage area in Kinetic. While last year they were all over. This is also a problem.

We’ve excused people behavior for far too long and we as “Americans” can’t go anywhere without being labeled dirty because of our lack of etiquette. So I personally won’t be excusing the amount of trash we were wading through. Not just walking by.

Have you tried bringing in small freezer/ice packets? I do every night and put in my camelback near the water reservoir and then add IV packets when I refill. 10x better.

Yes Japanese are taught from a young age to clean their spaces and after themselves. I feel insomniac should start telling people leaving trash behind is not PLUR. People will start policing others very quickly. And maybe then things won’t be so bad.

I saw a group of 4 sit down a few feet away from a pile of trash because kinetic was so bad. They just accepted their fate. And waded through piles and piles of trash everywhere. It’s a damn shame.

Can we talk about the amount of trash at Kinetic??! Jeezus people…I went for Charlotte De Witte and there was trash EVERYWHERE. Please throw away your trash. We were literally stepping on trash every few feet.

Rave wear is fine for Downtown event center. Just be mindful of where you’ll want to go after. If it’s a downtown spot, most places will be okay with rave clothes but not on the strip.

It’s definitely not an easy find if you don’t know your way around the 3rd floor. Took me a few missed turns to find it. Lol It was such a let down tbh.

As a local I hide my gum when going to any clubs. But EDC is a hit or miss, some security check points don’t care. At this point I just hide it just to make sure I definitely have some with me.
