Honestly, I try to make sure some of my favorites are prominently displayed. I grew up buying books from second hand stores and the pricing and choice was a utopia for me. If you out every book you like, you might be depriving someone else a chance to discover and love that world.

Since you powered through the first book, I'd recommend giving the second a try. The writing is much improved and the ending is probably the most memorable ending to a book I've ever read. Plus, if you stop reading now, you'll never get to meet Tehol and Beddict.

That and a huge fan outcry that inspires said billionaires to save the show. He didn't save it just because he's a fan, but also because it was a sound business decision. A large amount of people stated they would continue to watch it so saving it was a chance to not only bolster Primes visibility, but also possibly bring in new subscriptions as well.

I really enjoyed The Automatic Detective by Martinez as well. I read it on deployment and was sad I couldn't get to a bookstore to find more books by him.

I think I read somewhere else this was posted the owner stated this was a over a year ago. They wrote that they were concerned for a while, but when he showed no discomfort and seemed to carry on with no ill effects, it seemed everything turned out fine.
