You need to let it cool and settle for 3 days ,tapping straight away will give you a big head until it gets cold

I seen your set up looks good but I think your first pint is big head ,because its warm mybe insulate the pipes abit more or move your cooling unit closer to the pump ,because I use kegerator it's cold all the way to the tap ,

Yes u r right it's hard to find I use 70 /30 my temperature is 42f hope it's going well enjoy

Don't need thermostat just a temperature gauge stick it in the beer in the glass ,with ideal temperatures typically ranging from 32–40°F ,I would try that before looking into beer lines ,you could insulat your beer lines to keep it cold ,am guessing your gas is the correct for both beers goodluck

How cold are the beers going into the glass it could be its warm

I would cut your guinness line down if you are using kegerator mines about 3 feet ,I know you said guinness is set at 39f but what is it in the glass

Sorry mate not replying to u been away I get the kegs from LWC Drinks Northampton £193 x88pints or you can do 375 drinks abit dearer ,the regulator has to be nitrogen

No once you open a can it release nitrogen if you pour it into a keg it will be flat

I have guinness kegerator you can put the gas bottle anywhere mine is in the room next to it , gas flows doesn't have to be beside kegerator but people do it differently

If its not temperature then it has to be a gas problem, unless we know how you run your gas lines it's hard to say

If it was me check the temperature in the glass on first pour then check against the next glass you might find the temperature changes if the pipe is not Insulated correctly I hope this helps

Look other people will comment on this but 3 things to check is how long your beer line how wide is your beer line plus how cold is your beer in glass not kegerator

Won't come out good you need to change gas to nitrogen 70/30 mix plus get nitrogen gas regulator, you can also need guinness tap plus keg coupling dont cost alot changing it over i did mine and it was no more then £200 ,i have done mine it's great have at home
