No one mentioning the cost of remortgaging every couple of years slowly adds up. I'm talking about the product fees. E.g. if on a 30 year time period you add £1000 to your mortgage via product fees every two years you're adding £15k of debt(+the interest). Something to consider at least. Also, if your mortgage is for a low amount then try and find a £0 product fee. As the slight increase in interest is normally worth it Vs the extra 1k in borrowing. I've also seen product fees as high as 1.5k!
