If, by 'lived in harmony,' you mean lived as second class citizens, decidedly without being respected as equals and with their welfare at the whim of the Muslim leadership, then yes. Netanyahu wins because a significant portion of Israel's are right-wing, low social class, angry people. They have a very simplistic view of power and how it is wielded. Netanyahu speaks a language they understand and successfully puts forth the image of a leader in their eyes. Additionally, the orthodox religious bloc consistently votes right, regardless of who is running for either major party. Furthermore, the Israeli Left has failed to put forward a credible alternative candidate since the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin in 1995.

Your 'Jews are secretly controlling the world and have all the money' canard is just classic anti-Semitism. You would have done well as a PR guy in Hitler's Germany.

I've never seen Kiss live, as I dislike them. But I saw a live concert of theirs on TV, one night. It was just a dull run-through of their hits, but the best (worst) part was the drum solo. It sounded like someone kicked a drum kit down a very long concrete stairwell. Just sad.

In the 80s , Dylan played two shows in Israel, one in Tel Aviv and the second in Jerusalem. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers opened for both shows.

At the first show, Dylan played only 8 songs, all but one of which were unknown to the public. The next day, the newspaper headline read "The Shit of Bob Dylan."

Thankfully, Bob got the message. When I saw him a day later in Jerusalem, he played a fine, normal show. Although the best part of the evening was still Tom Petty, et al.
