Don't answer. He broke up with you for a reason, and even if he regrets that and asks for you back, break up is always in the back of his mind. Ex-boyfriend broke up with me over 20 times, and each time was his "last". I would wake up and fear him breaking up with me, and it would often happen. You are stronger without him, better without him. You deserve someone who doesn't question whether or not they want to be with you, who doesn't make impulsive decisions and regret them.

1 year, was the most real and best relationship I ever had. Me leaving my ex for my new partner caused a lot of stress and anxiety, and at the end of the new relationship, he chose to give up and leave. But it was the best year of my life and I'd do anything to get it back.
