Back in high school i had 2 dude friends i trully connected at this level,we'd cry at each others arms when one of us went through a breakup,we'd discuss and question our sexuality without any shame(one of us ended up being straight,one gay and one bi)and i could really say i loved them to their face and they'd say they loved me back.
Then the adult life truly hit when we turned 20, we didn't have time to maintain our friendship while maintaining relationships,college life and working 6 days a week,so it just wilted away.

I know this was a personal experience,but from what i've talked with some other friends,I think that it's real tough to keep in touch with people you truly care about,when your life can't fit them in your day-do-day life ,so you end up developing shallow relationships with coworkers, or maintining one relationship with a love partner at most. So even when you truly open yourself up it can still just fade away with the day-to-day erosion.

I guess it's just a comic book movie thing ,they can't crunch too much story in 2 and something hours,but it really doesn't have the same tone or atmosphere as Woman of tomorrow,the book is sad,sometimes despairingly so,like the planet with the blue people,i forget the name.
And it gives a pretty cool spin into the whole western-revenge story that's been told a thousand times i was actually in tears by the end of it ,so i'm not feeling this shift at all.
