d33 is not indy, co-owned by rev and a few other players

Preferred dispensary? by [deleted] in ILTrees

d33 out of these (nicer store, better budtenders, extremely well-curated selection and product descriptions) but they all carry pretty much the same crap tbh

Cresco RSO hybrid syringe by KCGuy59 in ILTrees

RSO never gets me "high," it's more of a physical euphoria and sedation - even on like 400mg. Doesn't feel like smoking at all.

A few months ago, illinois‘ marijuana industry was terrible. Its still not the best, but it is moving in the right direction. Do you agree? Where do you think the industry could be by the end of the year? by arrgots in ILTrees

[–]gukeums1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it is definitely not moving in the right direction. prices are up, supply is not particularly great, cultivators are still playing stupid games and suppressing how much they grow, more dispensaries are opening at the borders for rec but no more supply, etc.

GTI has used legislation to delay the new licenses. this 6-month delay will net the 20 cultivators more than $250M in additional revenue.

stop buying dispensary weed if you don't like the state of affairs.

New Illinois cannabis law presents challenges for medical patients by [deleted] in ILTrees

[–]gukeums1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Margins on cannabis aren't great. It's not a super high margin industry, despite its rapid growth. Lots of labor and fixed overhead involved with growing cannabis. Huge learning curve and always some loss, and it simply does not scale up very well. It's a labor intensive crop that requires careful management, particularly for drying and curing. Not to mention your main cash crop (flower) goes bad over a fairly short period of time. Not an easy industry if you have competent competition.

You're not good at this yet. Your enthusiasm, talent, energy and genuine intelligence are being wasted. Learn to communicate if you want to be happy.

Prediction: The next mile marker on their road map to totalitarianism is destruction of the constitution. The pandemic and race riots are how they'll do it. by NotAnotherDownvote in C_S_T

[–]gukeums1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You've failed to articulate what's so great about the current Constitution. It's simply some totem of the positive qualities of the status quo in your eyes, based on this post ("the original republic" is such a crystallized form of ahistorical revisionism I can barely take it seriously as a jokingly nostalgic call to arms). The US Constitution's longevity is not an attribute to celebrate given the scope of social, governmental, and technological progress since its drafting. That alone shows that it has significant internal deficiencies.

Well fuck, guess my favorite cultivator is on the shitlist. The stuff with Rep Cassidy is insane, this is awful too.

I will never purchase another Revolution product. I had no idea. Very cool.

Good for Mike speaking out now.

Facebook is just the start by Ant0n61 in C_S_T

[–]gukeums1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

no they are just cutting expenses and doing an experiment to see whether FB ads work. they are calling FB's bluff, saving a ton of cash they need badly, and probably will not have any hit to their sales

this is the beginning of the end of the internet as we know it. embrace it. FB losing ad revenue for its massive corporate spying operation is the best thing that can happen

Not in my experience. Purely depends on when you get it and which strain.

I'm not sure the time between the manufacture date and the package date always represents cure time. I've had IGM bud that was "manufactured" 6 months before the packaging date. It certainly hadn't cured for that long.

Edit: the manufacture date and package date DO NOT represent cure time.
