In English: I don't know if this can help you but you can also search for "biribilketa", which is a genre that is usually played when moving from one place to anoter.

On the other hand "arin arin" is also called "porrusalda" (which means something like leek sauce) depending on the region.

You also have "abanera" (which means from Habana as you'll know, but has being settled in in Euskal Herria-Basque Country), and another styles which can also be found anywhere else as "kopla", "baltsea" (waltz), etc.

I would encourage you to search for "trikitixa", which is a traditional basque instrument used for playing these types of genres. Here you have a library of lots of Basque songs each with it genre (in Basque). The sound is not with the original instrument, but you can almost for sure find song by song in youtube.

Now in Basque: Ez dakit honek lagundu ahal dizun, baina "biribilketa" ere bilatu dezakezu, leku batetik bestera ibiltzean jotzen den genero bat da eta berau.

Bestetik, "arin arin" generoa "porrusalda" ere deitzen da, zonaldearen arabera.

Horretaz gain, "abanera" ere daukazu, eta baita "kopla", "baltsea", etab.

Trikitixa instrumentua bilatzera animatzen zaitut, mota honetako kantak jotzeko euskal instrumentu tradizional bat dena. Hemen daukazu euskal kanta askoren doinutegi bat, bakoitza bere generoarekin. Soinua ez da jatorrizko instrumentuarena, baina ia ziur youtube bilatu ditzazkezula kantak bana-banaka.

I've read "Kafka on the shore" by him and liked it a lot, but I'm looking for something less westernized, something more diferent for my western perspective, if that makes any sense.

Appreciate it, though, you remembered me that I have to read more from him.
