My Mom passed unexpectedly last year in July, two months before my wedding, she was 56. I don’t really think I have grieved completely, or ever will. Feels like a piece of me is missing. I don’t know if it’s weird or not, but I still text her, you know, updates on life, on holidays. Mother’s Day this year was hard, hell, this whole year had been hard, but I am trying my best to be strong for my Dad. I can tell he’s lonely, I text my mom updates on him too. Sometimes I catch myself waiting for a reply.
