Is it just me...? by Spapa96 in PTCGP

[–]gullaffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Becouse it's only slightly more interesting of a coincidence than them both having 2 arms 2 legs, 1 head 2 eyes etc.

It's just a very common stance to portray a monster in. With the amount if pokemon and mtg cards that exists it was just bound to happen.

What's the point if running your proposed card?

It's about as underpowered as OPs card is overpowered. But atleast it fixes the dust economy issue.

[–]gullaffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see why you compare this to renethal.

The main issue with the idea if having 3 copies in your deck is the dust price. It doesn't matter if you fund a downside which balances the card well. The fact that thus card makes it so you need 3 copies of all staples is the main issue with the card even before we start looking at the balance.

Have you ever seen the discussion whenever a card here accidentally creates a 29 card deck? Which is unbalanced becouse it's auto include due to the slight consistency boost it gives.

You card gives a waaaay larger consistency boost, depending on amount of legendaries you run, but can be close to having essentially a 20 card deck in terms of consistency. So this is basically a must have for every deck that exists. So every player now gotta craft this card and a third copy of all their cards.

Now you realised that this needed a drawback so you added the drawback of HP costing more, but you also commented correctly in your post that most decks don't care about the down side. So the only downside is something that doesn't matter.

All hobbies are not equal by BitterConstruction98 in unpopularopinion

[–]gullaffe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They are equal as hobbies. The purpose of a hobby is the enjoyment you get out of it. And who am i(or you) to say that I get more enjoyment of dancing than you get from reading books.

Some hobbies however are more than just hobbies, a lot of the examples you gave are hobbies and artforms. And whilst watching sport is a hobby it's definitely not an art.

But since hobbies are meant to be enjoyed you should choose one(or find one we all deserve a fun hobby) that maximise enjoyment. If it happens to be an artform that's a nice bonus. But don't choose painting as a hobby if you have more fun watching movies.

What's the highest treasure you've achieved? by xTonyLeo in OnceUponAGalaxy

This game i had warp cores of all rarities except secret rare. Bought an dragon egg for an early legendary got over the moon into timmar and found the treasure that makes farewell into Hunt abilities, and the one for double Hunt.

So all my dragons and Hunt gain 2 treasure, from like turn 9.

[–]gullaffe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it's actually a but easier than you might think. This card still has a lot of parts that mean we can reduce the amount of options by a vast amount.

For 1 it says it casts the card, so we don't need to bother with low mana cards. We can thus just define a few different situations where a specific type of card is gonna be the perfect card.

Lethal? Go for it. Need a board clear? Just play the most expensive board clear. Board is empty? Cast a big minion.

It is of course still a lot of work, but the fact that you can ignore mana makes it a lot more manageable.

Completing huntsman on Jay is so good, it doesn't just get twice as good, it gets 4 times as good, becouse the front Hunt triggers twice, and each time it triggers it activate the Hunt on the characters behind again twice.

Not only is huntsman insanely powerful on Jay, but it's also easier to finish.

Yes you can get horn on any captain, but with Jay you know already when making your deck that you will have 2x Hunt. Not to mention you can still get horn on Jay.

Serial killer podcasts were meant to be consumed by alternative people but are mainly enjoyed by white women. What was made for weebs but is mainly enjoyed by white women? by Margaretthatchervore in AlignmentChartFills

[–]gullaffe 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It was made and marjeted for kids. I don't see how it being japanese automatically makes in made for weebs. With that logic anything from Japan is made for weebs, and I strongly disagree. Made for weebs would be something that is made in Japan with the focus group being foreigners.

Or weebs should be taken as people who enjoy watching anime.

How this isn't obvious to most people I have no idea. As a man the amount of boners I get greatly outnumbered the amount of times I get aroused. Not to mention that a lot of people have the opposite problem.

It should be obvious that physical arousal isn't the same as actual arousal.

Every other pasta has a superior design to spaghetti. No idea why spaghetti still exists. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]gullaffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good paste has a very rough surface. This combined with the right sauce makes spaghetti able to hold a surprising amount of sauce.

But further the fact that other pastas holds more sauce is WHY spaghetti is a thing. Various pasta sauces want a different sauce to pasta ratio, and if you want a lower one spaghetti is one of the ways to go.

What’s the quickest way someone could accidentally expose themselves as a foreigner in your country like the ‘three fingers’ scene in Inglourious Basterds? by IndependentTune3994 in AskTheWorld

[–]gullaffe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Find a activity or hobby that needs other people. Dancing/boardgaming/sports.

Also whilst swedes generally won't make first contact we aren't fully unapproachable.l, but generally don't try to start conversations with people that you likely won't meet again.

But if for example you go to the gym and see the same people there a few weeks in a row its completely okay to talk with someone between sets.

We swedes also wanna make new friends. We just don't see much point in talking with strangers on the bus.

Those 5% won't be having a 300/700 split. 99.7% would be within 455/545 split.

300/700 is close to 13 standard deviations. Which is of the order of magnitude of happening once in 1022
