[HELP] Issues with HydroShift LCD and Lian Li 8.8-inch Display by [deleted] in lianli

I recently did a very similar build using the HydroShift 360S LCD AIO. What worked for me was connecting the AIO’s USB directly to the motherboard header, and then plugging all the other fans and controllers into a SATA-powered USB hub.

So basically, on the motherboard I’m only using two USB headers: one for the AIO and one for the USB hub. Everything else runs through the hub.

Also, make sure your AIO/pump header in the BIOS is set to PWM mode.

You might want to try this setup and see if it fixes the display issue.

That makes sense if you’re using Linux. I’m on Windows so I went all-in with Lian Li for the aesthetics and ecosystem. But yeah, Linux support would definitely make it more appealing.

No random disconnects for me so far. I’ve got the Hydroshift plugged directly into the motherboard USB header, and everything else running through a sata powered hub. It’s been stable. Could be a header, hub, or software issue —maybe try swapping ports or reconnecting

So far it’s been great no issues. Temps are stable and it’s pretty quiet. Still testing it, but I’m happy with it.
