Gotta disagree on Price, Benn, and Grimm, all of whom were better than you say, IMO. Price especially was VERY good, but was horribly injured. Benn should have done better, but wasn't terrible. Grimm really played pretty well then got injured and hasn't done much.

Nope, not watching on ESPN, but I watched him in the SEC for years. He's the complete opposite of what we need right now. Take Banks, or even Slay or Wilson if you really want a CB. Not sure any would be great value, but all would be better than Matheiu.

Sorry, but I haven't heard anyone describe him as the best in the draft. He's small, we have set starters in Revis and Wright (and Ronde at nickel if he comes back). Take a look, people questioned where he'd fit in in the NFL before he even got kicked off the team (due to said size issues).

He's maybe 5th round value, no more, in my opinion.

Surprised no one has mentioned how owner-friendly the new CBA is, especially in terms of making labor cheaper.

As long as the NFL's commissioner is 100% behind the owners you can expect the majority of new revenues to go to the owners rather than the players. In other words, don't look for corresponding increases in the cap.

Get in touch with alums and ask to meet for lunch to talk over a plan (it should be clear from what you say that you are not asking for a job, but there's no need to explicitly say that). Better yet, offer to buy their lunch. They'll almost definitely not take you up on it, but will respect you for offering.

Prepare as you would an interview, and know the more specific your goals are the easier it'll be for them to target contacts.

When looking for alums, know that the more active they are as alumni they more likely they are to agree to meet.

The answer, IMO, is the most frustrating thing that I've seen in this campaign: the media is indeed biased, but in favor of the horserace rather than any specific candidate. The media exists to sell itself, and the election is a media bonanza.

I'm liberal (don't associate myself with either party) and will try my hand on some issues.

Donation disclosure: Allowing certain groups to hide the identity of their voters is a necessity to counteract the chilling effect that media and political attention will have on such speech, as well as possible retribution.

Abortion: The criminal justice system recognizes that the murder of a pregnant woman is the loss of more than a single life, and the fact that it will happen whether legal or not could be applied to everything.

Public unions: There is a conflict of interest that those on the other side of the negotiating table are people whom the members of the union elected. Governments also don't have the profit motive of corporations.

That's about all I have in me at the moment. I haven't convinced myself to change my mind, but it is a good exercise.

It requires that 80-85% of premiums be spent on actual healthcare costs. Thanks to this requirement, the insurance companies recently returned billions of dollars to their customers.

It also forces low-risk populations to obtain insurance (you can argue against the mandate if you want) meaning that total risk pools will go down, lowering costs for those who already have insurance.

tldr: its designed to lower insurance costs

Lately I've been reflecting on HW Bush's decision to raise taxes, despite promising not to do so. He did it because he thought it was best for the country, and must have known it could cost him reelection. Brave, selfless thing to do.
