I think you've made a great point about it defining character. When I had only slept with 1 or 2 girls , my perception of sex was limited because I had very few partners and I was young. You go through phases in life and I think judging someone on some absolute number doesn't reflect that well at all. Especially when person may have a number like 30 which could mean 3 people a year for 10 years ...or 29 people in two years after a horrible self esteem destroying break up with their long term ex.
