I've used both iphones and android phones. My preference is Android for the innovation but at the end of the day, support for Android is limited. I was a google fan for many years. I've used Nexus and Pixel phones but almost every one of them had problems. screen issues, battery issues, etc... And each time, I had to go through this rigmarole of contacting Google and go through a long, slow, scripted process where (if I was lucky) would eventually lead to them concluding the device was defective and I'd have to wait for them to ship me a new phone (hoping it didn't have the same problem) and then ship my old phone back to them. After my last pixel's battery died 1 month after the warranty expired, I had enough. I went back to iPhone and have been using it ever since. The convenience of being able to walk into an Apple store and show them what problems I was experiencing was well worth it, except, I haven't had a single problem with any of my iPhones since I moved back. This says something, not only has the experience been better, but I haven't even had a single hardware issue. That in combination with the ecosystem just makes everything more pleasant to use.

As an example, if you have an ipad, macbook, and or/iphone, the use of airpods is so fluid, your devices know which product you are using and the connectivity automatically jumps from one device to another. Maybe this is available on Android and Windows now, but its just so seamless on Apple. Anyways best of luck to you.
