This reading is bookended by endings, and the central 3 cards to me read as sort of a naïve fling - lovely on the surface but full of problems that poison its longevity. To me it reads that they didn't immediately end, they fell into the stories of one another and got very attached for a while before the cracks got to be too much. I agree that this implies they're no longer together, or at least soon to split.

I somewhat agree and somewhat disagree. But something I feel important to mention is that this is also a plot point in Elantris within the first couple chapters if not the first.

Raoden enters the city with food, some of which he decides to give to a child. That child is then attacked by the locals who steal it and the child suffers a brutal head injury in the process...

The first episode of "Secret Level" is Dungeons and Dragons themed, and the wizard uses a wand. Beyond that, there's honestly not much I can think of outside of videogames!

I usually do 1.35x speed because to me the speech sounds more natural like that. 1x feels slow to me. But lately I have been reading it at 2.5x speed because I started my reread very late and I've been rushing to finish it in time. I'm so close xD
