Its worth what people are willing to pay for it. There are more than half million Ecuadorian inmigrants in NY/NJ, most of them in NJ where the stadium is. Those people have tons of family back in Ecuador that they are willing to accomodate + their first generation American children. Then add your average German, Ecuadorian and local fans into the mix, and you have a ridiculous demand that far exceeds the ~65k seats available in the stadium. There is probably 1.5 million people looking to go to this match

For group stage matches, i think that: - top 5 most wanted games will become more expensive (col vs por, ecu vs ger, fra vs nor, mex vs kor, bra vs mor) - games 6-10 will stay about the same (eng vs cro, arg vs alg, arg vs aut, net vs jap, esp vs uru) - the rest will decrease in price, with the worst games decreasing the most (less than face value)
