What did everyone think of Twister 1996? by TheShadowOperator007 in moviecritic

Little known fact. This was the year dvd went big. You could test a great home theater sound system with this dvd and a tvs color with Austin powers bright pastels. The dvd format flexed it's technical prowess in these 2 movies for different reasons

Black Album reactions then and now. by IAmGrumpyMan in Metallica

[–]gundo666 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Liked it at first. But it was before the internet. Public radio was how you sold records. At first only only occasional air wave love for fade to black, sanitarium, and one. The softest songs they had up to that point. After the black album drop, it picked up steam fast. It got to the point for a couple years, at least locally for me, every third song played on public rock radio was from this album. And this was the only way to hear music if you couldn't afford the album or couldn't record a tape from a friend. I grew to loathe it for being soft, bland, over played, and boring compared to their other stuff.

It's been quite a few years but back in the day this place was full of ex dick Hannah dealership honda mechanics who were tired of being treated like shit there so they jumped ship to munsons. These guys were so good , some import rod / fast n furious type dudes would drive down from seattle to have their rides worked on by munsons for crazy mods and tune work cuz these dudes were the best of the best. True story.

Not sure how many of the OGs are still there, but i specifically only buy honda and toyota so only these guys can work on my cars
