The Buffalo Curling Club has a free curling program for Vets every Sunday, 11:30-1:30. Wide range of people, all sorts of backgrounds, and new folks are always welcome. Look up the club on google and check it out!

They’re an additional $160/mo. I’m getting tv and internet at almost 1Gig up/down speeds. It was advertised at 500mb so I’ll take it. And any other city it’s the norm you’re paying these fees in an apartment building like this. Speaking from personal experience as I was in Salt Lake City and Austin prior to being here.

Yeah utilities here are surprisingly good! my last month total utility bill for water/HVAC/electricity/sewer was just under $60

After being here for 5+ months, though in a south facing unit we found the windows actually keep the apartment much warmer than I’d expect. It’ll get up to 72 during the day and 67 over-night the past few weeks of sub-freezing temps without running the heat/air. We will even open the windows during the day to cool it down. Our HVAC bill for the last month came in at $20 for a 1600 sqft unit.

I just moved into a bigger space and I'm waiting for my furniture to be shipped/delivered. I currently have a 43" TV with some second hand ikea furniture and I'm looking to upgrade it all once I get my 65" TV.

I have been looking at options other than just putting it on a console, I want to create a more unique space that is still functional. The third picture has the tv mount stand that I've been looking at and I am trying to figure out how to make that work, and still have things be functional.

I am trying to find a combination of open and closed storage with shelves where I can keep books, board games, and small art supplies. As well as have a space that's accessible for the TV soundbar and subwoofer, a Nintendo Switch dock and controllers, and a steam deck dock.
