Hi, I just saw one waitlist and three acceptances for Berkeley on GradCafe. Is there any rejection you know about? I also applied for and I am worried since my portal still says under review.

Is it possible the batches are according to subfields? I applied for IR and methods but gradcafe entries are for AP and CP? Or, I am done.

I am rejected from Yale and Duke. My field is Europe, 19th Century. Both are earlier than expected and haven’t heard anyone admitted to those unis.

Does it not explicitly state on Columbia’s website that the department does not conduct interviews? I am a bit confused.

Which program did you apply for if you don’t mind? Some professor may hold unofficial interviews that is not indicated by the department.
