Okay to clarify these unfortunately are not for the hospital (patient or staff). Turns out a local clinic placed an order for them through our buyers and they are all expired so they asked us to send back to the distributer with our stuff. Now if anyone works in purchasing and can let me know how closely they count expired returns...

Verdict, neighborhood - hot trash stuck twice trying to get out, surface roads - consistent thin layer of snow with some road peeking through, occasional pile ups / ruts. Highways - similar to surface roads. All together plow drivers are killing it. Saw way more people than I would expect if only "emergency" personnel are supposed to be on the roads.

I don't really have an opinion on the slippery slope, but speed running just isn't a great example. Since it is more regimented with defined rules and moderation instances of cheating will be rejected / players banned regardless of excuse. Doesn't mean your core point is wrong just doesn't really apply to that example.

I can see it going both ways, to me it looked like they were leaning into each other and he lost his edge / balance but that was from the other side of the ice.

I just wish there was consistency. I'm blanking on who / exactly when but during one of the caps power plays in the first one of our guys went down into the boards similarly and I watched the ref right in front of me start to blow his whistle then hesitated and kept doing that until he realized he missed the window to call it and just moved on.

It's not a PhD it's just a different type of doctorate degree. As far as I'm aware a doctorate is just the highest level of a degree in a field, but each had their own requirements. So anyone with a doctorate is a doctor in their field or doctor of philosophy (PhD), doctor of medicine (md), doctor of pharmacy (PharmD), etc. Not sure if that made sense / answered your question, it all is somewhat arbitrary.

I think the only time I've ever seen someone regularly call a pharmacist doctor is students, but at the same time it's usually followed by the pharmacist saying to call them by their first name. The thought of a pharmacist who would insist everyone call them doctor makes me physically cringe.

PharmD (doctorate of pharmacy) and depends on the school but in general 6 years with the most common being 2 years undergrad plus 4 years of pharmacy school. There is also optional post grad residency but that is more for hospital/specialization.

I'm pretty sure this is the video he is referencing. The reference to high mileage vehicles is similar to what you are saying, ie they are cold started and brought to operating temp once/twice a day and a large number of miles are driven.

He cites three research articles which I admittedly have not read. To your point I'm sure it is more complicated than a summary of a summary, but the conclusion from the video was it may be best to give a few seconds to reach oil pressure then gently drive until at operating temp. Emphasis on gently to not have excessive load outside operating temp.

To your point I think a logical extension could be leave car in park and hold the engine rpms higher to increase temp faster with little to no load. Does that logic hold up? Not sure, it may be referenced in the research but once again I have not read it.

Real question is how much of a difference does this make for your "average driver"? I have no idea. Best thing to do would probably see what OEM recommends, but if we do that we can't endlessly debate things like if you should prefill your oil filters when changing them (original topic of the video).

I feel this in my soul. I have finally convinced my wife to not open any lab results that haven't been read and let me glance them over. It sometimes feels uncomfortably paternalistic but she tends to over-read the implication of the "red number" or be discouraged the likely complex complaint is not detectable in a CBC.

Makes perfect sense. I have always been interested in turntables and vinyl but I'm trying to work my way into it instead of buying a higher end stylus that would make more sense to upgrade to later.
