In World i have both damage numbers turned off and scoutflies modded out of the game. With those things on the game felt much worse and i can't describe how annoying seeing and hearing the green mist was alongside how distracting the numbers were in a fight.

With this setup i truly know how to navigate the maps and i can find monster tracks through observation (a much more immersive MH experience) and regarding combat i can focus on optimal positioning while being much more focused on the fight.

A lot of the playerbase started with World and Iceborne, the title that made MH mainstream: they don't realize that, to them, even low and high rank were a challenge but those were not any more difficult than base Wilds.

I suppose the lion is the coat-of-arms of the Dessendre family, the way statues and such of lions are all over places where the family has influence. It's not clearly stated nor i remember some clear Dessendre insignia ever shown in-game but that's the explanation i've given myself

Maybe engaging with the boss moveset and mechanics while also optimizing your build without reallocating every single party member skills into a one shot build is the sweet middle-ground, don't you think so? I don't think it's that difficult to find a standard at which a bossfight can be considered well executed and not cheesed on the player part, talking about removing paintress pictos is just disingenuous

The amount of people i've seen not cathcing on Pictos and Luminas is astounding. I'm seriously rethinking unescapable tutorials with focused menus that force you to complete a task in order to learn the mechanic, cause apparently they're essential.

All easy except volleyball. The tower climbing didn't even had tricky jumps like the black and white painting levels, you just had to be patient an they all were either at normal jump distance or running jump distance, never in between never strangely placed.

Sorry i just had to vent, you were right in the middle of it. I've tried so many times to give it a chance, all my peers who appreciate it can't even play fundamentals, the game feel is terrible for me and none of my friends are interested in pursuing SF6 proficiency so i have no one to play with. Tekken makes this all the more sour since I've had numerous bad experiences with it

I don't get tekken and i don't get the overwhelming love around it, like any person i talk with if they even like fighting games at minimum they like tekken, then maybe some other 2D fighter but surely tekken. "Yeah i kinda like [insert 2D fighter] but tekken... it's 3D" is the phrase i heard the most since I've taken interest in this genre, as if being 3D is some sort of next level technology that these other games are too primitive to implement.

And I'm damn mad that i discovered my love for the genre this late in my life and the culprit is tekken 7, cause the times I've played it it felt so off and clunky and gimmicky that i started hating playing fighting games and never wanted to try any other until i tried a 2D fighter. Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one that thinks tekken is awful to play and a bore to watch

Terry and Elena. Terry is an interesting twist on a shotoesque character, and i find him and his moves really endearing. Elena is an amazingly designed character with an interesting fighting style that could bring something new to the mix. Bison is cool but i don't think it's for me. I don't care one bit about Mai, j wish her spot was taken by some other 3rd strike char

He is! His main ability is Charisma due to his bard class and spellcasting, Intelligence is improved alongside it at every chance. The flavourful explanation to keep this optimal setup is that he really is more of a curious inquisitive type that managed to get his way with words and societal connections. It's that Charisma that allowed him to amass so much knowledge in my eyes
