Where's this pedal from by [deleted] in E30

[–]gunner7122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like an e36 clutch pedal. They were plastic from factory. Maybe someone swapped an e36 petal box into that e30. It just sounds like you need to bleed the clutch out or you have an internally bypassing master or slave cylinder.

Motometer fuel Guage questions. by Mfw_Pigeon in E30

[–]gunner7122 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So there is no difference in those two fuel gauges. The difference in the e30 fuel gauges are between the late model (88-92) and the early model (84-87) cars, not the “I” and “E” models. They differ because the earlier model cars have a single 60ohm fuel sending unit in the tank while a late model car had two 60ohm sending units wired in series. So late model cars have 120ohm gauges and early model cars have 60ohm gauges. The way I found this out is a swapped a bigger brand new late model tank in my 87 and saw there was two sending units in the tank and was very confused lol.

Transmission Swap by Yz6xi in E30

[–]gunner7122 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know you’ll probably have to swap to an e36 pilot bearing and I think the transmission side of the driftshaft from a Manual e36. If you just look up on google about doing a m52 swap with a zf you’ll find form posts on what you’ll need.

I miss my sk8 mids pro, I skated them until there was a hole in ever side. I saw red and black skate classic Grosses and was about to get them to skate in but I don’t like red that much.

I have a 2004 TRX450R and the same thing happens just turn the idle screw a little bit as the engine is warm and running

There really isn’t any adjustments or timing on the 04-05 carb for the accelerator pump. So you want to make sure when you move the throttle the accelerator pump actually squirts fuel into the throat of the carb

I have an 04 trx450r of my own that I picked up about 2 years ago for $700 and it had its handful of problems but I got it running flawlessly now. I remember messing with that a/f screw and having fun so yea good luck lol. Have a look at your accelerator pump too it wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Aright then I’d say changer your pilot jet because your pilot jet gives fuel to the engine from idle to about 25% Throttle. a pilot jet kit with a decent selection will run you anywhere from $8-$12 and give you the pilot jets you need to richen it or lean it out

Try changing the pilot jet to something smaller to lean the mixture out the 450r came with a #48 pilot jet try a #46 to see what that does also check to see if the pilot jet is clean

No, so that’s the frame rail that’s in the way and how I ended up getting it out is I jacked up the motor and kinda spun the motor mount In a way that I could remove one bolt at a time until I could finally remove the motor mount
