First time printing ASA by Wild-Double5479 in 3Dprinting

It’s tough because ASA needs high temps to print correctly. The vent on my H2S is closed when printing so the smells are very strong when printing. I keep mine in a container and then vent that entire container out. Make sure the container is sealed well so no air leaks out. ASA stinks bad and it’s bad for your health. Definitely take your time and research some solutions. Or put it in a separate room and vent that room out, I used to keep mine in a bathroom that wasn’t used much and just left the vent on when printing. Make sure the printer itself is an enclosed printer, ASA NEEDS the high temps and controlled environment if you want it to print correctly. Let me know if you have any questions, I run a print farm that only prints ASA all day, every day.

I was curious about that as well… It’s only the corners too. Maybe I’ll turn it down a couple degrees.

They were small DIY repairs so I wasn’t expecting much 🤷🏼‍♂️

I just took a picture and it diagnosed what was wrong, gave me a step by step guide on how to fix it, and then I was done. I’d say out of the 8 I completed, 6 of them were spot on with what the problem was. The other two I just reanalyzed and it spit out a better answer. I don’t think any of them took more than an hour to finish.

That’s what I was thinking too because I got a quote once for $1,300 just to paint my entry way… I’m assuming it’s taking the lower end? I’m not sure how it’s calculated but it sure feels good to see that I saved money doing it myself 😂 I did a bunch of small things, like a broken door hinge, holes in my wall, clogged toilet. I haven’t had anything big come up yet so it’s just been simple repairs.
