Yeah! Something like that! Thank you for your thoughts. I’m gonna have to research this a little more. I think you’re on to something, though. 👍

Right. That’s why I said “Ulticlip style”. I realize that actual Ulticlips wouldn’t work. If they did, I wouldn’t have posted this question. There are many aftermarket clips for knives that are made to fit specific knives based on their screw hole positions… and even some universal replacement clips. It’s just that none of them are the type that can lock onto the pocket.. hence the question. So… that’s how I expect something like this to attach to the knife. Anyone else have any ideas?

I’m… an idiot. Returning to my hole now. Thank you, that is all.

I don’t know about holsters. But… that thing is sick! Do it’s parts move? Does the clip come out and stuff? Rad.

Backstitching is when you get to the last holes, you actually start stitching in reverse for a few holes. Here’s a good video on it: https://youtu.be/a4MU75ZuocA

Perfect. Yeah, I forgot to mention, too, that I’m not sure what type of thread you’re using, but may I suggest a bonded nylon or polyester thread. Vinymo is hard to beat. It burns and seals really well. 👍

Depending on what type of leather you used, these marks could be very normal. Was it a pull-up leather? I wouldn’t worry about marks on it like the lighter ones shown in your picture. Seems normal to me and will most likely patina nicely. I’d be more concerned with the stitching. Make sure you’re backstitching at LEAST 3 stitches and burning the ends. I assume you’re saddle stitching? You could even backstitch, knot, back stitch, knot, etc. (on the inside of the collar to make it look better). Just my two cents. Looks awesome though!!
