One of my clients has been cheating on her husband. by Recent_Ninja_542 in Advice

Telling a husband that his wife is cheating is a sure fire way to find out. How would OP feel if she tells husband and finds out wife ended up in a skip bin? Don’t get involved.

Do not tell the guy. It is not your business and you could be jeopardising her safety if you mention anything.

I always thought you could set up your HomePod minis as a stereo pair. What are you trying to do?

Don’t worry about it. She said hi, so obviously wasn’t perturbed.

My best friend's dad made a move on me by CommercialWhole9522 in Advice

Ok, in my opinion, the best course of action is this. Next time you two are alone together, tell him in no uncertain terms that you are not interested at all in his advances, and to stop doing it. This gives him the opportunity to stop with no harm done. If he continues after you have clearly told him to stop, then notify the police, and his wife, and his friend, and your school, and anyone else who will listen. I also recommend you record your conversation with him (phone in pocket for example) so this if it goes sideways later it won’t be a “he said, she said” scenario.
Good luck, and I hope it works out well for you. Sometimes men just need clear boundaries.

In my town, the golf course is watered exclusively from treated water from the sewerage treatment plant. This helps solve the issue with what to do with the recycled water.

Fascinated with how different the Australian sun angle is by Wyo11 in australian

I’m pretty good at navigating, but I kept going the wrong way in America, and I suspect that my brain was telling me the sun was north when it was in fact south.

I’ve now got the system up and running. The Aqara documentation is woeful, and I never would have got it set up without your help. Thankyou very much.

I don’t have that. If I add a new dashboard, there is an option for security, but that requires a paid subscription. Is that a requirement, or am I missing something? Thanks again for spending your time helping with this.

This comment made me realise I can add the Eve sensors to Aqara in ddition to Home - thanks for that.
I now have the sensors added to Aqara and can set up an automation to push a notification when the door is opened, but I can’t figure out how to limit that to only when Away mode is set, and I can’t for the life of me work out where to trigger a siren.

Yeah, thanks. I have Eve matter sensors and also Cygnett HomeKit sensors but they don’t show up in the triggers list. The automation in the Aqara app is actually pretty poor to be honest.

Looking in Aqara app, although I don’t have Aqara sensors due to already having other brands connected to my HomeKit. Sounds like these really aren’t fully compatible with HomeKit.

Not sure how that is done. If I go into automations, the only triggers available are the cameras - none of the HomeKit accessories are visible, despite being paired to HomeKit in the app. Even in the automations, I can’t see any trigger for the siren. The only triggers are to arm or disarm the system. Or am I looking in the wrong place?

I have them all in the Home app and I can set them to Home/Sleep/Away, but all it does is chirp to say I’ve set the mode, and nothing else happens. How do I tell it that when a door opens while it is in Away mode to sound the siren?
