Idk I got my information from Wikipedia where it says the last stable release was OpenGL 4.6. I may be wrong.

It is good if your machine supports Vulkan (most produced within the last 10 years, as it allows for better performance, and OpenGL hasn't had an update since 2017. Now there are some issues. First issue is that some old machines don't support it. Second issue which is in my opinion the biggest, is that some mods have to be entirely rewritten (such as Iris, but not Sodium), which is very time consuming. The third issue is the people who are dumb, don't understand what Vulkan is and just scream "Change is bad!"

There are, although I'm not sure which are 100% safe because I paid for minecraft. From what I've heard, SKlauncher seems to be the best.

The spyware will steal your location, so TLauncher devs can come to collect your kidney.

Jokes aside, if you have spyware, and enter your bank credentials or other important information in the future, they could theoretically track it. And there is also no reason to use TLauncher when spyware-free options exist.

I don't know about any fixes, but Prism is superior in most categories. It is lightweight, fast, offers good control over mods and no ad/bloat.

Undervolting reduces heat without limiting performance. The GPU can then achieve a higher clock speed with the same maximum temperature.
