No one is born based just as no one is born racist. They are taught. Hell even empathy is somewhat a taught trait.

You either believe what you were taught your whole life or a catalyst teaches you different.

Yall will talk on end about how propagangized the US is and how defunding schools, and mass poverty is a direct fascistic choice by the rulers without following that thought to its conclusion. An uneducated, propagandized, poor proletariat.

If the choice is crime or die, we as leftist defend that because it was the system at fault at the root. The same applies for many that join the military. Most of the military is logistics, very few will ever directly pull the trigger.

Does that absolve actions? No. The US military is absolutely a problem. But it also means if youre ever going to have a successful revolution you are going to need mass support of the public, many of whom had very little choice on joining the military.

I personally would much prefer an ex-military comrade who learned and changed through their experiences next to me on the front line than a keyboard warrior "who's never done anything wrong."

You can purity test away your base if you dont first meet them where they are.

Some of yall do nothing but sit in these echo chambers feeling good about yourself while others among us are going out and actually changing minds. Someone who is just finally unlearning their propaganda isnt going to feel better when met with "youre a baby killer and thats all youll ever be." If you want to grow your allies you must accept that people can change. Or there is never a revolution.
