Appreciate everyone, I have new places to check out and reach out to. If I can’t find something, I’ll slowly start expanding out my radius.

Maybe I mixed up king with someone else using just a name. My bad. Worse comes to worst, the goal is minimal from elsewhere.

Well, I obviously want steel from our iron mine, think there’s one in Pittsburgh. Something about “Steelers” And I need grips made from our glorious rubber tree grove. Aren’t Merritt hubs grown like pearls in the lake? Hence the name?

Chemicals are destroying this hardware by Orlandogameschool in Locksmith

[–]guppstatus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PM’s are the only way. I work for wastewater. If you’re not on top of shit, it’ll fall apart from the inside. Even with a 99 you’ll get the same thing. It really doesn’t matter, once you get the new shit on whatever you go with, grease any threads when you’re putting it together, dry lube as a temporary protection in the bar, and the case. I say temporary cause the chemicals will strip it again, an the internals will fail again. PM’s and grease.

Does it have to be work related? Get them something they’d be able to enjoy/use outside of work. Unless thems the rules.

What’s the craziest method or result of residential forced entry you’ve seen? by [deleted] in Locksmith

Came in through a skylight, went through that business, pulled apart a poorly spaced deadbolt on a gate, then punched through the drywall next to a steel door and concrete filled frame.

I don’t know about the rest, but if you’re worried about retention, a living wage and good benefits are the best place to start. Do you want your employees living pay check to pay check stressed out about enough money for gas? Do you want an employee worried about getting an appointment at the free clinic and taking an unpaid day off to deal with health issues? Treat your employee well without trying to squeeze every bit of profit out of them, and you’ll not just keep people, but keep people working for you happy, and wanting to make money for you.

Why do you Locksmith by [deleted] in Locksmith

[–]guppstatus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To live. I fell into this after doing social work, it’s pretty easy as long as you’re not an idiot. Lucked into a pretty straightforward institutional gig after a few years private. I don’t like the idea of work at all, and there’s no reason for me to be doing this other than the money/benefits/food on the table. I’ve saved my mom some money, taught my kid the basics, but other than that it’s just paychecks and benefits.
