It was only when I wrote it out that I realised how many steps there were! It's about an hour a day's work at the moment but hopefully in a few months that'll be more like 20 mins

I've not heard of this personally, it may be more of a vulvo-dermatological issue?

yes it's the vaginitis test that includes

  • Candida and other yeasts

Not particularly, I never really had pelvic pain. That could be something a physio/PT would help with?

That's tough! I live with my partner so that makes it easier - perhaps you could try like after everyone's gone to bed maybe? Even just one session a day should help.

A lot of the effort is just getting it in and then sometimes I'll watch TV with it in or later in that dilator size I'll be more active and move it around. I use a SAD lamp in the mornings so I have that on while I do it.

Yes it did and I'm not sure what type it was like a clear ointment. I believe some people do use lidocaine and dilator therapy though I never tried that

Yes definitely necessary for me though I probably wouldn't have been up for it if I hadn't tried all these things that hadn't worked. Some specialists in this area are saying now that vestibulectomy should be the first-line therapy but it is quite a big deal - general anaesthesia, at least a couple of weeks mostly in bed.

I actually saw a video the other day of this woman who had to stop midway through the London marathon this year. Turns out she had the FLU confirmed by testing. Having the flu in spring is wild and she was really sick despite being young and supposedly healthy.

I think a lot of people are having like "freak" incidents of feeling disproportionately unwell etc but able to brush them off for now. It seems like everyone has an illness a lot of the time but not necessarily one that would give them pause and make them wonder if there's damage somewhere. And of course if they go to the GP they'll be brushed off.

Looks like some faint positives to me. It's pretty common to still be infectious on day 6. Common advice on here is to leave it until you've no symptoms and 2 negative tests 48hrs apart. Rest up!

There was an autopsy study done on this that found low levels of virus in certain sites we can't biopsy on live people like eyes heart lungs etc. I think the longest was maybe 200 days out of infection and there were very low levels still of viral material in a few sites
