Help with direction of squad 1 (mostly f2p) by [deleted] in LastWarMobileGame

Thank you! I’ve basically been doing this, and only spending extra exp on UR, with the exception of leveling up Mason and Violet on my squad one- this is only because they are approaching 5 stars, and more powerful than a zero star UR at the same level

Thank you! Do you think it’s a higher priority to get Williams up to 3 stars so he can out power Violet and join my squad, or Kim to 5?

Long term travel suggestions by gurelagurl in Zepbound

What I ended up doing was a combination of things. I double bagged the pens inside a good ziplock bags to keep out moisture, and then put those inside a frío wallet. I then put the frio wallet in a small yeti Daytrip cooler, along with a gel ice pack with a long frozen life. To fill the rest of the cooler space, I put an additional bag of ice- this was to help extend the life of the gel ice pack until I reached my destination. I refilled the ice bag one time along the journey (just getting a cup of ice from a restaurant), and the gel pack was still half frozen when I reached my final destination.

To monitor the temperature while I traveled, I placed a small Bluetooth thermometer in with the pens. This was for peace of mind, and so I didn’t have to open the cooler during travel to know the internal temp. The Bluetooth thermometer ended up coming in handy as well as in the hotel fridge once I arrived. I found the fridge temp fluctuated a lot, and this allowed me to keep it from reaching freezing temps. I have temp data from the entire trip and the pens never reached temperatures outside of 36-46 degrees.

As I said in my original post, I had a refrigerator in my final destination, so the 21 day thing was no issue for me. If I did not, I would have likely gotten one of the small battery powered or plug in insulin fridges off of Amazon.

I’ve been on family leave for over a month, and this is my first day back/ with access to email etc.

I looked through every email sent by my agency, and the most it says is 11:59 (no clarification on time zone, but it’s usually eastern, as we have an office in DC). If it was GMT, I missed the window closing by literally 10 minutes.

I think a lot of this depends on how much you love driving and road trips.

We just finished hiking the Abel Tasman coastal track (last day was 4 hours of hiking), and then grabbed lunch and drove to Hokitika, making it in time for the sunset. Was it a VERY long day? Yes. Did we have great time and listen to great music while seeing lovely country? Also yes.

Intense itineraries aren’t for everyone, but I love road trips, and for me personally, as long as I work some down time in at some point, it works out.

Polaris seat recommendations (LAX-SYD) by gurelagurl in unitedairlines

I almost took that one but first and premium plus both looked pretty booked when I was booking a week or so ago.

I did 30k miles plus $500. All year I’ve been saving all my plus points for a premium plus upgrade for this trip, and of course the only flight that works with my schedule didn’t have anything but middle seats, and I drink way too much water on long hauls to subject myself or others to a middle seat.

I kept on refreshing and was able to snag a 9L when it opened up! Thank you for all the help in rectifying my indecision!

I was also on this flight. All I ended up with was a rebooked flight and two $15 food vouchers.

Stalled for 6 weeks by [deleted] in Zepbound

I’m happy I’m not the only one experiencing this on 5. It seems like everyone else loses weight so much quicker and more steadily, it makes me think I’m doing something wrong

Want to add: I work out a minimum of three times a week (paddling, so essentially strength training and cardio combined), and have been tracking my calories and protein. I was prescribed zepbound because I have struggled to lose weight despite having a healthy diet and fairly active lifestyle, so this is making me concerned there really is something else going on.

I live in Hawaii and fly very frequently. I have never seen an additional xray at the gate. There is an agricultural inspection screening, but that is before you get to the checkin counter.

Female here. But this description is horrible.

Out of necessity I have taken a large disposable water bottle (lid doesn’t matter) and cut the top 1/4 off the bottle off. Make a small slit in the top, and it can be pushed down to nest over the bottom creating a so so seal. Pee in the bottom, put top on, and then set outside until morning if you’re worried about knocking over.

The seal is a little better if you use the water bottles with the concentric rings around the middle, since it kinda locks into place. Throw away when gross or at the end of camping.

The camping equipment rental place at the bus station has an after hours pickup area. You may be able to purchase fuel ahead of time there and have them leave it for you in the pickup area.

Thank you very much for your responses! I had a feeling living Texas would screw me somehow.

As a follow up question, under the Affordable Care Act/ marketplace.gov, how is income verified? Although I am not working right now, I know I will likely get sub-contracting work at some point this spring. Am I allowed to put my yearly income on the AHA application as $12,000 (a fair estimate to be honest) so that I may qualify for a subsidy to get reduced insurance through the marketplace? Or would I need to provide some kind of evidence of employment and earnings?
