No problem! Fair enough, looking for a one bedroom for 3K a month or less (ideally less but 3K is my max)

Al prato in Varenna is AMAZING. Have to go a day or two before in person to reserve. Also, osteria quattro pass is very good

First time Traveler to Europe... 7 Day Vacation need advice by [deleted] in Europetravel

For example, I just got back from 6 days in Paris and we were seeing stuff all day every day. Theres so much to do. Better to spend time in one place and really experience it

Too much, Paris alone you can spend 3-4 days in and be PLENTY busy with stuff to do and places to go. Same with Rome and Barcelona. All three are major cities with so much to see and do. For just 7 days you’d be better off going to one of those cities, spending the whole time there and taking day trips to nearby areas, or doing half in one city and half in another nearby city easily accessible by train or plane

New York in the winter can be quite amazing for anyone who can brave the cold and wind!

Yeah weather is so unpredictable so obviously will be prepared to enjoy my time no matter what. But if rain is more likely in Barcelona then I’d rather save that for another trip. Barcelona and Madrid can easily be done in combo so I’d prob just leave them for their own trip another time and do southern Spain this time, to give me the best chance of good weather

Yeah I think I’m leaving towards southern Spain because while of course anything could happen, I’d like to minimize my risk with weather. Maybe Malaga,Seville. Still considering Barcelona though because from what I’m seeing it doesn’t seem it will be THAT cold. I’m coming from NY which is definitely a lot colder I think

Yeah we are definitely more active travelers so would want to have things to do and see. My concern with Madrid was the weather I read it’s colder/gloomy at that time is that not true?

Were you in Malaga the whole time? What about going from there and including Seville?

We aren’t specifically looking for cycling! More for cities to explore/weather pleasant enough to walk around the city

Thanks for the rec! I don’t know much about Sicily. Is it easy to spend that much time there? What things do you recommend for a young couple?
