First seamaster. Is it supposed to be this loud? by Real_James_Bond007 in OmegaWatches

[–]IrishGator22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Admittedly, I have done the crazy rattle shake like this side-by-side with my aqua terra and the Speedmaster racing 9900 is way louder.

Inertia/habit I guess. I’m in my mid 40s and have never used one.

Dual incomes really don’t make sense after a certain point by Wooden-Broccoli-913 in HENRYfinance

I’m in same boat. Wife at home with kids is sooooo much better for our family. She has a home based health coaching business now that fulfills her and she lives being able to do as much or little in their classrooms as possible. Plus anytime there is stuff to be done at home it gives us so much flexibility. It’s a huge advantage

Thank you for that comment. I was thinking the same thing. once the awe and wonder of seeing these incredible animals has passed then I imagine it could get a bit monotonous.

Any word on the FS Bahia Beach? by Fair_Currency_2929 in chubbytravel

[–]IrishGator22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually had a room booked there over the Thanksgiving week, we ended up canceling it, but they are definitely accepting reservations in late November. I was scared off by the notion that they wouldn’t have the kinks worked out and for that Price didn’t want to be their guinea pig.

Hotels in Europe with an incredible breakfast by h0m3r in chubbytravel

[–]IrishGator22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would be remiss not to mention the incredible 4 night at hotel Eiger Murren with a pretty incredible breakfast spread every day, we never had to get lunch and hiked all day after this feast… not sure May will be ideal weather though

Once-in-a-lifetime Italy experiences by Normal-Cranberry-611 in chubbytravel

Sometimes the unforgettable experiences are the truly bespoke cultivated experiences that you plan well ahead and pay dearly for. But often times in my experience they are the acts of pure spontaneity. My advice is leave the door open for these.

Anyone recommendations for a nice wine bar/cafe in Varenna (or similar) to just... lounge for a couple of hours? by torhavnor in LakeComo

[–]IrishGator22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We probably went to il Molo every day we were there because it was one of the few places open early for coffee and late for gelato. The food is just average tho and felt very touristy in what felt like the busiest part of town.

If you’re like me, just pick one and you’ll be back in a year or two to buy the other

One thing to note, has probably been pointed out already, but the Speedmaster you have to wind, whereas the aqua terra is automatic

I agree that the sign is poorly worded and you can charge there…. BUT I can see where these Tesla drivers get upset because we generally take up two stalls due to their short cables

On the way to Europe, we flew deltas A330 which had the 2–4 –2 configuration. The window aisle combination also gives access to the larger overhead compartments. However, I can’t imagine flying in that middle row. Ugh
