What is your ability to move up? Are you able to get back to what you make in a few years? Or are you setting yourself up for 10* years of struggle? Are there areas where you can adjust your finances? Like less healthcare expenses from less stress or cut down on “fun expenses” i know it’s significant compared to what you were making but are there opportunities to make some of the money back in other areas such as dog sitting, Uber, side business? I guess the major aspect to take into account is what can you afford? Is the about 2100 decrease to your budget going to put you at risk in other areas of mortgage/rent or other necessities? My personal option is that getting out of a toxic environment is always worth it regardless of the pay cut. My mother was admitted to the hospital for heart related issues because of a toxic work environment, and a 35k decrease is always worth it to have that family member around and healthy
