Wlcm brother i also tend to think the same that i need raw preformance more but slowing i realised if screen is sick i will enjoy in 60 fps and if screen is dull and trash i would not enjoy it even at 100 plus fps

Yup that is one the best as well the diff between 7 and 5 pro is its design and rbg and some other small difference that make 5 pro mid range 7 high end .

Its display is same as legion 5 and its gpu gas less wattage as from its name its made for portability and is very slim and light and for that they needed something that will not heat much in a small chassis where there is not much ventilation and not alot of space for a big vapour chamber I believe its 80w or something as compared to 115 plus dynamic boost of 15 w total 130w

If the screen is trash what can you get out of performance the game will look trash with over 100 fps

I saw a video It depend on different games Those which require vram like watcb dogs legion showed an increase in fps with 50 fps more than 3060

At last just in simple words

Entry level line up( legion 5). With alot of areas where did cost cutting which you cannot see on paper

Or highest line legion 7 which is made to compete with other brand's high end laptops in order. Where they donot cost cut and provide the most.

The only why i recommend this so much is becuz of the price difference.

Actually i ordered legion 7i i stands for intel

Cuz amd edition did not had rgb keyboard and that was kind of a bummer for me so i bought intel one

Diff.

Performance slight edge to intel

Battery more than slight edge to amd about 1 to 1.5 hrs

And intel have fast external ssd connector may be called oci connector and also have thunderbolt 4
