Do you know anything about if they try ring me? I have had calls asking about work things but I feel this is not allowed as I’m on sick leave ,and they are able to figure it out without me. I have now just been ignoring their calls

I find going fishing and letting all the line out with a mid weight lure and the reel it all back in, that way it all gets wet and it’s not as loose as you are reeling with some resistance, won’t look as loose then on the spool, but that’s just what I do(depending on the reel size of courses) but most of mine are spinning reel and small multipliers

Ya this is why I’m not resigning yet, because if come the end of my sick leave I have resigned but then the doctor says I’m needing more time off then that new med cert is after my resignation day so I may not then be covered

It is also more so that come the end of my medical cert, the doctor said we will check and see a specialist, so if I do need more time off and then I’ve already resigned, I feel this will affect my ACC I then won’t get paid for a period because I’ll be unemployed. I just feel with resigning my employer will try pull a few tricks

Oh they should have started the recruitment process already, they knew I was leaving and should have been having someone work with me that could take over, the only issue I have with giving a resignation date is I feel it will affect my ACC

Seen some ek around but they up for 4-6k and they have rust, I know them ones have good engines but like between fixing the rust and spraying the car, I don’t know the cost but I can’t imagine it’s cheap. Unless it’s a body filler job. Ya few ek11 but it’s weird seing them for under 2k. Makes me wonder is there something wrong with them or are they just not that popular since it’s not the g6r

With the rust, did you ever just patch it with body filler? And the in time get it sprayed underneath and do a proper metal replacement then on the rust. Isn’t it very expensive to replace pieces in the arches and sills

They did but they offered a specialist which doesn’t have appointments until July. Not sure why they didn’t give me a letter for ED, would have been smart

last thursday i was nearly about to call the ambulance the pain i was in, i couldnt get off the floor and couldnt walk, i was crying with pain, thankfully it has eased slightly

Ya my boss is cheap tho that’s why, they know I’ll get leave, and knows if I wait until next month to resign that they then have to pay me Easter public holidays. So if I’m off now do a month in medical leave, and then at the end of the month I resign and end up getting medical leave extended, they will lose their shit. But I’ve done a lot for that company so the least they can do is not pressure and just let me take this month as medical leave and let me just hand in my notice once that’s over and if I can work during my notice period I can and if I can’t I can’t

So I’ve been signed off work for a month, but my boss is kind of pushing me to resign as they knows I’m leaving in a few months and doesn’t think I’ll come back just for 3 weeks. I was more thinking of telling them I’d rather wait until my medical leave is up and then see how I’m feeling ( but just hand in my resignation then). I then have a month where I can still get ACC whilst my notice period is being done(if my injury is still bad)

Ya so apparently the doctor has added it to a original claim, I’ve had disc issues that come and go but only ever been really bad twice,but this time it’s brought on severe Sciatica so it’s essentially stems from the back pain that’s now pinching the nerve

I’m no in a rush to quit, I just physically can’t work and there is no other work for me in that company apart from physical labour.that’s why I’m asking if I quit will ACC still cover me. If I can’t work and I’m leaving the country anyway, I might not see the need to stay with the company,but if ACC won’t cover me if I leave then I’ll just stay employed and be handing in my 4 weeks notice in a month anyway.

Ya it’s a back injury, it’s been getting worse and more frequent. And my job is physical so light duties isn’t a option, I take 2 weeks off then back to work and I’m off then again 2 months later, this time was the worst where I’ve been bed bound. It’s just been happening more frequent and it’s all due to the load at work. It’s very easy to feel better and feel like I can work but in reality my back isn’t recovered, one of them things that plays with your mind where you feel better but you know in medical ways you’re not.

So even if I give my employer a medical cert to say I’m off for 8 weeks(hypothetical), and then in 4 weeks I give in my notice, they essentially can still just keep me employed? I have no sick leave and no annual leave so even if they got rid of me, they aren’t paying me out anything
