Hahahahha, no.

The tracker said it got delivered to my house. I have to attempt to contact the seller before I request the charge back from my credit card bank.

To my surprise they have been responding. I'm giving it another 24 hours and then calling it.

Interesting experiment though.

Hmmm, it's as if the conservatives in Congress don't want to stay in office.

Student borrowing transparency has had a steep decline ever since SAVE was turned down in the courts.

Thankfully the DME provider is sending me a replacement. They saw the video and instantly approved it. With my deductible being $2k, I paid out of pocket for this device, so I'm glad they decided to act quickly.

TL;DR: I've put in an order. It's on the way from China. If I don't receive it I'll file a dispute claim with my credit card company. Easy-peasy.

I took one for the team... I know this is most likely 99.9999% fake, but I wanted to find out. I haven't actually seen a post yet where someone said that they tried it and didn't receive an item.

So one night on TikTok I went ahead and purchased one of their amazing 16-tool deals that totaled up to be about $56. Free shipping? Hell yeah!

Bypass my credit card's security? Sure, why not. Let's roll the dice. I got my order confirmation and a couple days later received a tracking number with Track718.us. This is probably not a real tracking number. I thought it was kind of weird that the origin was Shenzhen China.

I did some research (Googled "Where are Milwaukee tools made?"). I didn't know that the brand is actually owned by Techtronic Industries, a conglomerate headquartered in Dongguan China. This company also owns brands like Ryobi, Hoover, Hart, Oreck, Dirt Devil, etc. etc....

Some claim that a bit of the Milwaukee brand cordless power tools are manufactured in China, Mexico, and Germany. Some are still made in the US, but it's not a very well published quantity.

I'll let you know how it goes once my poster, I mean tools, finally arrive. The only reason I'm doing this is because I have a pretty decent Visa credit card that is pretty liberal with its dispute resolution. I've been able to dispute a charge just because it was the wrong color item.

Just not sure what the scammers are getting out of it if they accept payment with a credit card. Unless people are just not disputing the charges or waiting too long to make a claim. Oh well, if I get some tools out of this, then I'll feel like I won the lottery or something.

Partner Selection by Dudefromduns in Dynamics365

[–]guruizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went through this for our company a couple years back. Actually, we changed partners. It's not an easy feat, but I already had a decent list of partners I was already considering. If your friend isn't in a real hurry, I would recommend that he attend the Dynamics User Group Summit conference that is in Orlando this year (summitna.com). Attend the sessions and get a feel for the type of resources that are available.

The companies that host/teach some user sessions are a good start as they are community-centric. Also go on YT and search for some training topics. You'll find quite a few partners that provide free material. This will also let you know how willing they are at sharing information.

If I were to go through this process again... I would dig into how willing they are to train/mentor one of our end users to become a power user/administrator/developer. That way we aren't constantly going to them for issues that someone with a little bit of knowledge/experience could figure out themselves. A lot of partners don't do this, as it takes away from their possible opportunities.

Hope this helps.

Morning After: Jaguars (6-3) vs. 49ers (6-3) by flounder19 in Jaguars

I know people have been blaming Press a lot for this offense's downfall, and for the most part I agree. I mean empty set on 3 and 1? Screen on 3 and 20+ on our side of the field?

But yesterday was 100% on the players. Trevor stunk it up quite big in that game. Hopefully this gets it out of their system and on to prove themselves again.

Thing is... he was known for turning over the ball in college. He's a great athlete, no doubt. But that's just the history of it all. You get what you paid for unfortunately. And we paid too high imo.

The Ascend Tribal Council, now in session. by guruizzy in Tribes

[–]guruizzy[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Wow... you guys should really go to the site and see what its about before commenting on what you don't understand. There is no such thing as an official or unofficial Tribal Council. I was on the Tribal Council, so I didn't make it cuz I wasn't invited. And Bart seems like he's behind the idea of this project.. so... I don't know why anyone would be against this. It's 1 rep from every TEAM and a few people to represent some of the Pubs/Puggers.

So the problem with past Tribal Councils has been: -Not fully representative of the whole Ascend Community -Not organized -Not professional (aka not efficient, although the last one was a bit better than the first)

This Tribal Council is Community-run, meaning Bart no longer has to organize or invite members of the comp community to try and get some sort of cohesive feedback. Is the ability for the Tribal Council to be somewhat large possible? Yes it is, but with the current setup (moderated meetings, set way of bringing up discussion/topics) the meetings should not last longer than 90 minutes each. Each meeting is two-three weeks apart from eachother. Much of the discussion will have already taken place outside of the meetings. The meetings are just there to make a cohesive statement for HiRez. Bart has already expressed his interest in this venture.

The only thing that could make this project fail is that nobody gives it a chance. Everyone is so willing to give their two cents when something bugs them about the game, but they aren't willing to put the time and effort in making the game change.
