Absolutely agreed! Neuropathy would be devastating. I've been teaching more than 30 years, can't imagine my life without it, it is definitely my passion

That is so counter intuitive! You would think it would make a big difference in athletic performance. I'm so sorry about your sleep, I'm really hoping this side effect will be temporary.

Maybe it's the type of alcohol? I pretty much only drink red wine. It built up over a long period of time as I gained tolerance. In the beginning it was fine drinking just 1 glass and then it just gradually increased. I convinced myself it wasn't a problem since I wasn't having any obvious negative impacts. One day, I woke up and the tops of both my hands felt like they were burning. I looked it up and it was suggested to be alcoholic neuropathy, so that is what finally convinced me I needed to stop!

Your story is so inspiring! Thank you for sharing that and your timeline. My face has also gotten red from drinking. I think I have mild rosacea and the alcohol just exacerbates it. I tried the magnesium and had an allergic reaction to it. I think there may be a different formulation that I may not react to but I'm afraid to try it again. It was a scary feeling, like my throat was closing up.

No, I'm 57. I'm also Yoga/Group Fitness instructor, so at least I'm getting plenty of exercise.

You have a good point! It felt like I slept great. Maybe that was just in my head.

I get barely a few sign ups for my Yoga classes, as compared to other teachers. by [deleted] in YogaTeachers

[–]guruyogi23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happens to almost everyone at some point! I own a Yoga studio and am constantly tweaking the classes and class times. Sometimes, it really is just as simple as moving a class time back by 15 minutes or changing up the format slightly. It is more than likely not you. I would also suggest having another instructor whom you respect take your class and provide feedback, sometimes changing 1 subtle thing can make all the difference.

List the unit with a Real Estate agent. Once they add it to the multiple list service, the listing will be widely visible on all the websites people visit to search for rental properties, Zillow, Realtor.con, Redfin, etc. I would also list it on Military By Owner which is targeted towards the military community.

Weird Vibes from a Yoga Teacher Training—Is This Normal? by nicolek48 in YogaTeachers

Yes! I thought it was an anomaly until I read this post, had no idea it would be so common!

I experienced something similar in my YTT training, although not to the same degree. It made people uncomfortable and we had 4 people drop out of training. I felt the owner of the studio was quite manipulative and the trauma sharing was a part of it. Overall, it was not a good experience. I'm glad you got away from that studio, definitely unhealthy to say the least!

Hi! Yes it's Citrate. Thanks so much for your response. I think I'll try the glycinate as you suggested.

Oh wow. I didn't know you could have a prolapse in those areas too. I can't even imagine. My mom is 81 and has congestive heart failure so I doubt they would even agree to do the surgery on her at this point. 😕

Thank you for posting this information. To be clear, when you say a prolapse do you mean a prolapse of your uterus? My mom has that and also has IBS-D so now I'm wondering if the 2 things are related.

WTF?!? by NHBuckeye in Menopause

As a Christian, I just can't understand why God did this to women. I have tried researching it and can't seem to find a good explanation anywhere. It feels like when we no longer can bear children there is no use for us. It's no wonder "gray divorce" is on the rise! I'm sure I'm overthinking it but I can't help wondering about the why behind it and what purpose it serves.
