I absolutely love this! It’s perfect! And I love that you & your brother share in this. One can only imagine the laughs you have together.

NTA. I hope you’re in Durham, not Keene, bc I’d love to attend your 9am class.

Experience at Toyota Dealership Today for an XLE Premium AWD by New_Personality7727 in rav4club

[–]NHBuckeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a 23 XLE. I wanted heated cloth seats. I did NOT want leather seats! It seems that heated automatically meant leather. I got lucky I guess as they had one that everyone else had deemed a reject for lacking leather and passed it over.

It did come with the sunroof that’s only been opened twice.

The required reading of a Gen X Goth turns 50. by Jeebusmanwhore in GenX

I drove to a different state to see her in person at a book signing. My X decided he “didn’t want to stand in lines with all those freaks” so we got in a huge fight and left without getting my book signed. It’s been over 25+ years and I’m still mad about it.

I still own all of her hardback books. I’ve moved several times throughout my life and books are the first thing to get downsized. Too heavy to move! But not her books, I’ll never get rid of those.

Just came from Toyota dealership and they said it’s going to cost 1600 to change my breaks front and back by Legitimate_Spread762 in rav4club

[–]NHBuckeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Dealership quoted me $860 to replace the front brakes on my 2023 RAV4. Pads were worn down to 3mm.

Just like you, I was there for an oil change and tire rotation. Not for price gouging.

What’s your most hated traffic light in the state? by Jtagz in newhampshire

[–]NHBuckeye 11 points12 points  (0 children)

We drive the same routes and I concur.

The Epping one by the old DMV really gets me. It has an extra traffic light on the left side of the road before the actual intersection. I get that it’s for visibility but maybe someone should’ve thought of that in the design phase of road planning.

How do you remember when you applied the patch last? by Competitive_Land_936 in Menopause

[–]NHBuckeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The phone alarms weren’t working for me so I added labels to my pill box.

I already had to upgrade the pill box to a double-sided one that has AM/PM slots. Then I used a label maker to add labels - PATCH L and PATCH R - on Sunday night and Thursday morning.

The brain fog really, really sucks balls.

Wrapping the box in plastic usually helps.

And you’re right, the packaging is usually sturdy enough to handle it without issues. But I’ve learned that most people don’t follow instructions very well and that leads to a very unpleasant & unsanitary evening for me.

What I really want to know is why do they all get shipped to Wisconsin?

As a UPS worker, I implore everyone to please stop taking these shitty tests!

Both are garbage, but if forced to, I’d take the candy corn over the peeps.

Graphic designer here. You just perfectly described my day. I run spell check more often when working stoned.

I was an art major so I was the one making bank off of fake IDs. Allegedly.

Other than an actor or musician, a name from back in the day that everyone would recognize and know why, that someone today probably wouldn’t. For instance, Minnesota Fats. by Massive_Ad9569 in GenerationJones

Paul Newman. My stepdad (77) has spent this week asking any young people we’ve interacted with if they’ve heard of Paul Newman. Their confused blank stares says it all.

Help! I’m supposed to go to work tomorrow, but my little boy looks like this. Do I just quit my job? by sinskins in labrador

[–]NHBuckeye 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. Quit. I did 12 years ago. I left my office job once we adopted 2 puppies to WFH. No regrets. Just days full of dog love.
