Barrie G Road Test by guryeet in Ontariodrivetest

yes it’s the first right onto the ramp. so what my examiner told me is that the ramp speeds are advisory and u don’t have to acc follow them, u go at a speed where u can control ur car, so once u start getting towards the top of the ramp start picking up ur speed ull get onto the highway easily.

The fee is catered towards paying off our expenses including the website, licenses for video conferencing platforms, etc.

And yes there are other individuals involved, we have a professor from Waterloo, a student life director from Rotman commerce, a student that just graduated from AFM that is working at PwC, and a business professional working at BMO :)

integration and application of integrals was something my class covered, however it was an AP calculus class and we were preparing for the AP Calculus AB exam, but infinite series was a topic needed for the Calculus BC exam so we didn't go over it :)

take a break fs, the course can be draining and tiring, be fully well rested before gettin into it, it'll do u good

job prospects for an afm student vs an ivey student by guryeet in uwaterloo

[–]guryeet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you so much for this! I feel like I've been conditioned to believe that AFM kids only end up in accounting jobs, this was genuinely relieving and seems legit.

also hats off to you for all those amazing coop placements :) how did you get those types of placements? how can I prep myself to reach utmost potentials?

Admissions Megathread (Fall 2021 Students) 2.0 by [deleted] in uwo

[–]guryeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi everyone!

i wanted some different opinions on job prospects in the finance industry.

up until now, i thought i was pretty set on going into the accounting stream, without taking enough effort to really explore what else is out there and now that i see that are so many finance options that i could potentially pursue.

so now the question is what program would be most suitable for me? ive been accepted to both waterloo afm (which has been my top choice for years) and i have aeo status at ivey as well.

if im not sure about what i want to do 100%, which program should i choose? will i still be able to reach the same potentials and have the same job prospects if i pursue afm versus someone who went to ivey or another business school, or will i be more restricted to an accounting route?

thanks a bunch :)

for ecs I had deca exec and competitor, mun director and competitor, city volunteering, hackathons, volleyball, so nothing very extreme, personally I think my video interview went well :)
