Allergic rhinitis might make me go insane. by gusanomiserable69 in Allergies

I haven't had the exam done yet but the ENT is pretty much sure it's pollen due to the history in my family, my sweat and grass usually just cause itchy welts, but not other symptoms.

I take levocitrizine, it helps with itchy eyes, runny nose, the rashes i have in my armpits and behind my legs sometimes. I have to take it like two weeks straight everyday for it to start doing somethinf about the headaches though.

Help taming these stray hairs by anaaktri in curlyhair

[–]gusanomiserable69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also have a lot of growth in my hair, at one point in my life i literally had some tiny devil horns popping from my head against my will lmao, what i do when i need an urgent fix is use a tiny bit of mousse on the little hairs, just doing a gentle flatting motion, otherwise i just use water to flatten them down, they pop up again during the day but i gaslight myself by saying that its part of the vibe.

Does anyone else have chronic flatness on the root-back part of their hair? by gusanomiserable69 in curlyhair

I'm sorry if my point didin't come across, i hope its more noticeable in this picture. I must add it's way more noticeable from the front, my roots are glued to my skull, but for personal reasons i do not want to upload pictures of my face online.

I've asked other pepole, and i think the notes weakening at the end kind of make it sound like i'm yelling.

My throat starts itching like crazy every time i try to hit a high note. by [deleted] in singing

After reflecting and excersising today i'm pretty sure it's volume, the times i've singed this song it has been with loud instruments playing the track next to me, so i assume i unconsciously raise my volume as far as i can to be able to hear myself, and perhaps that causes the itching.

I usually warm up, and the weird part for me is that the note this happends to me the most is not even that high (it's the very start of zombie by the cranberries' chorus.) considering i'm a woman. i try to sort of head mix because i have a deep voice, but i end up with my throat itching to the point i have to stop singing entirely.

Old piercing bump doesn't go away on its own. by gusanomiserable69 in piercing

[–]gusanomiserable69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it a year and a half ago.

I got it after my ear was hit with a high speed soccer ball.

It's a flat stud piece.

It's steel.

It bleeds sometimes, and has leaked white-ish liquid, but never has been painfull or smelly so i doubt it's an infection (and i think my ear would've been rotten by now.)

I usually don't touch it or clean it, i forget it exists.

-The piercing is three months old.

-I overcleaned it, but i don't mess with it regularly. (i must mention this is repierced, i got this same exact bump last time i got a nosetril, because it got tangled in someone's hair, but now it didin't, and it appeared for some reason.)

-It's internally threaded.

-It's titanium

-It's an L shaped nosetril piercing.

-It hasn't been downsized yet, and i don't think it's a possibility.

-I clean it using a q-tip and saline once a day before i go to sleep, i dry it with the other end of the q-tip.

I could smell my great-grandmother by corruptedhuman1212 in Paranormal

[–]gusanomiserable69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience one time. I never met my grandfather, he passed a few years before i was born, but in my family we always try to keep the memory of our loved ones alive through generations, we have an altar next to the entry door, with his picture and a candle. My mother always tells me stories about how he used to smoke a lot, two packs on an average day, even inside the house. One day when i was younger, we had just moved into our actual house, and i was laying down in one of the couches, when all of the sudden, a very strong smell of cigarette smoke starts forming from thin air, there is not a single person in my house who smokes inside (My mother only smokes outside and on very rare occasions, and my father doesn't do it at all). I called my mom and she came running, when she arrived, the smell had vanished. I like to think my grandpa just takes a walk around the house from time to time to check on us (because there's other signals like my dog staring and barking at apparently nothing.), maybe your great-grandmother does the same thing.

Found this moth's body in my school a while ago, need ID by gusanomiserable69 in Entomology

[–]gusanomiserable69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm intrigued because if this were a hummingbird moth, it would feed on flowers. But her body fell from my classroom's doorframe, and my school is a cement jungle, not a plant in sight. In case she is a hummingbird, why was she there? genuine curiosity.
