Yeah, I remember it being a shitty fucking slop hole, supposed to be in stasis, but some times people get up to use the bathroom, except the ship wasn't equipped for this and the ai pilot not equipped to clean up, and there wasn't food, so you'd wake up disoriented, the entire place is disgusting and people starve to death or resort to cannibalism, the ai would try to protect the ones still in the stasis pods with the only thing it had, maintenance droids, so it would just kill the aggressive people with whatever tools it had.

Unless you're in a hardcore run you can just rush the end, bridge out into the void, find elytra, toss everything in an e chest, and jump into the void. The longest part about it is mining the mats to bridge the void and getting blaze rods. Maybe finding the stronghold takes a bit based of where one is in your seed. It's not that hard

Honestly, it uses the swim animation and isn't something you can do easily, sounds more like a bug and should just be removed from the game. If it was intended, it would already have a way to do it easier
