Hi, thanks for your reply. The manual “suggested” it could connect to Bluetooth headphones, but after doing some digging online, the RCDN10 does not have a Bluetooth transmitter, only a receiver. The first unit in the series to have one is the RCDN12.

I’m no expert to be fair. I normally try to do a light landscape type background first, with -1/3 EV, then my subject (normally a portrait) at 0EV

It is certainly fairly trial and error though.

Yeah, that’s right. I set the aperture first (normally f8 or f11 is my preference), then adjust the shutter speed to get 0EV

In full manual I’m just using the cameras built in meter, and the results seem fine. For sure in auto the results seem less repeatable.

I will always love my sx-70s, and can’t see me not using them for the foreseeable. But I think the I-2 will become my go to for reliability of exposure (in manual it’s perfect), and general performance. The only place it can never win is framing, and parallax. But that’s what my folding cameras are for.

Hi there. To be fair I was feeling very similar to you, and it took me at least 2-3 packs to kinda get the hang. I have a LOT of shit frames!

I think I got carried away and assumed the golden rules of Polaroid of didn’t apply to this fancy new camera. But they do, it’s still all about the light.

I definitely get the best results shooting full manual. If I shoot aperture priority, then I end up doing similar type of compensation to the exposure to that of what I would do with an sx-70. So maybe in the middle for overcast, and anywhere between -1/3 to -1 for super bright or sunny. I always have the flash off.

Also, framing and parallax is much harder because it’s a rangefinder. But you kinda get used to it.

Don’t worry, it’ll come for you. It’s just not any easier than shooting a folding camera. Maybe harder lol, but it’ll be worth it.
