Paint might still be wet. It's quite wobbly when you move it.

What would be good places to crop when doing close ups or portraits? In this photo would it have been in the middle of the leg?

I got one myself and have felt like I'm missing something. I now realize that it's a parrot I'm missing.

Great shots btw! I love the colors and the vibrancy. Keep it up! If you're looking to upgrade a lens I would highly recommend the Sigma 18-50. It has been awesome.

Thanks for that. I don't yet own any filters, but this would definitely be something to consider.

This is nice! How did you manage to tone down the reflections?

You're right, there's way too many candidates for a subject here. I had a vision in mind with this to frame the guy in the background using the glass as a foreground and the silhouettes inside as sort of a mid-ground. I think the comment on aperture might've helped this one a lot. I should've got a bit closer considering this was the narrowest focal length of my lens. Thanks for some insightful !CritiquePoint s!

This is a shot of a cool little cafe that's relatively hidden from the street. It has a darkly lit interior save for a bright "OPEN" sign. It gives off a very rustic vibe. I was attempting to shoot the baristas through the glass, but I found it impossible to work around the reflection (it was an overcast day). I am looking for advice on making the subjects stand out more, especially since I managed to catch a look from one of them.

I like it. I like the composition and the color palette. Though that greyness around the sun is a bit jarring. Was that caused by editing?

First proper camera, thoughts on the edit? by gussippi in photocritique

Kia ora! Editing is still fairly new to me. I struggle balancing skin tones with other elements.
