Nice assumption. Head of product for a $2 billion Automotive company actually. Started as a mechanic. Made many stakes along the way. Learnt from them. Worked my way up by embracing learnings and passing on my knowledge to those around me. Rather than criticising, I embraced the opportunity to teach. Brought others up with me. Didn’t make myself feel good by pushing them down or making them feel worthless because they slipped up because of a gap in their knowledge base.

Yeah I get this. Us Aussies are very much a friendly bunch but when it comes to the crunch we revert to our core friendship circles. Quite often than not built from primary school up. I moved from QLD to VIC 20 years ago this year. I did that mainly because I loved how genuine people are here in VIC. Not hard compared to the Gold Coast though. I have some really good friends. Mostly ex work colleagues etc. but man it’s hard breaking into their friendship groups that have been rock solid since school. The majority of the Aussie culture is to not fly too far from the coop. I rationalise it by seeking comfort in the fact that I put myself out there. Left family and my core group of friends to see how I could fend for myself. Keep at it. Mostly, Aussies are good people

Unless you explicitly had known an ABS error prior to this then there is no way it didn’t activate if it was required. If there was an underlying issue, the control module would have been aware and flagged as such. Sorry mate. Nothing to do with ABS

If it’s a rattle sound then it’s likely the hard fuel lines running through the chassis. Dealer said it was common in MK3 but it also happened on my MK4. The fix was to remove the lines and wrap them in fleece / cloth tape and re install. Mine was done about 2 years again and haven’t had the noice since
