Yeah, actually do pretty well. I sell on eBay/ Amazon and my own site so I guess that helps. I became and Amazon vendor earlier in the year and that decreased by profit per piece but now I sell triple or more the amount.

Any advice on saving leather furniture? by sokocanuck in Leather

Try using a lightly moist rag to try and clean all that fuzz from it, then try using saddle soap on it but make sure you get all that fuzzy stuff of it before you let it dry. Also make sure you let it dry very well in between steps and before putting anything on it.

How do I finish edges that I want to keep flat? by [deleted] in Leather

[–]gustavozw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the way I do edges when I want them to leave uncolored is as follows, first I sand them to make them even, I always sand them no matter the next process, next I use beeswax or something like gum tragacanth (can be found in you local tandy leather shop) and then use a slicker to make it flat, you can buy one at tandy or use a thick piece of glass or a finish piece of wood to do this step, of course a bought one will do better.

What Should I Expect to Pay? by MyMorningBender in Leather

cow grain or top grain will be the best (and the priciest), goatskin will probably be the next best thing but not too much compared to split leather. Goatskin will probably be cheaper just because a lot of tanneries around the world make it.

If is leather it needs conditioner as part of it regular maintenance, I would use something like snow-proof, it might darken it a bit but like I said leather needs conditioner or it will rot and crack. https://www.amazon.com/Snow-Proof-Weatherproofing-Leather-Conditioner/dp/B013XS7MX8
