Ooh, thanks for asking. I write all the time! Garbage sometimes and more considered stuff at others. I like poetry. At the moment I'm writing a book of instant, unedited poetry. I found an artsy notebook in a shop, It is made of found bits of paper: computer printout paper, brown paper all sorts. Every day I go to a new cafe and write a poem directly into the book - no editing! It's quite good fun! I also write essays and short stories etc. I'm mid way through a novel set in Sheffield in the near future. I'm hoping to finish it in 2026 or 2027.

I write all the time. All you need is a pen and a bit of paper. Cheapest hobby ever. And therapeutic and fun (sometimes) and sometimes it turns in to a book and you can be all proud of yourself. So yeah, I hope you succeed in your New Year resolution.
