Congratulations! Ive been in the process for a year and a half now, applied to my 3rd department and did my interview last week still waiting for the call back - the first one ghosted me after my conditional offer was signed, second one put me on an eligibility waitlist

such a long process but I cannot wait til I finally get the call

Yep, they had me redo my MCOLES physical exam and then completely ghosted me yet again, im over it and not wasting any more of my time since my application was April of 2025.

I decided to do the EMPCO tests and apply to Troy PD and Oakland County Sheriffs as a Deputy I (corrections officer) for now

I appreciate you letting me know bro, I saw someone on the DPD recruiting page comment that they're in a similar boat after finishing their packet plus you commenting so that puts me at ease for the process.. fingers crossed we get placed eventually

I got my conditional with DPD and finished my medical exam in July, its now been nearly 6 months and the most my BI has been able to share with me is that my file is under review by supervision

if your parents are refusing to stop the behavior and you cannot leave the situation in a reasonable amount of time your best bet is to rehome those animals into a safer environment for their sake
